Born in La Tuque, Quebec, Juliette and her husband moved west before settling in Gold River where she was a housekeeper at the Gold River Health Clinic for many years. She relocated to Campbell River in 1983. Juliette was predeceased by her husband Arsene Lavoie and is survived by her children Marie (Ben), and Jim (Margarita) She is also survived by her grandchildren Jeannine, Marie, Sonny, Wayne, Theresa, and Billie May. Juliette also leaves six great grandchildren. Everyone loved Juliette. She was so good natured, a non complainer and was always willing to help. The loves of her life were playing Bingo, Rumoli, and Yahtzee with her friends and family; her annual trip to Reno, and her two dogs, “Rocky” and “Missy” Juliette was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Legion in Gold River. She will be missed and remembered by many friends and family. The services for Juliette will begin at 11:00am, Friday, January 2nd, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 34 South Alder St. Campbell River, BC. Rev. Father Vince Borre officiating. A reception will follow after the burial at Elk Falls cemetery.
