Julia Ann Clarke passed away peacefully on 24th May, 2014.

Julia was born in England in 1964. Julia is survived by her loving husband Tim, mother Renee and brother Richard; also by nieces Kayleigh, Victoria and Charlotte and great-nephew Ellis.

A heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Campbell River Hospital who helped and supported Julia throughout her illness.

Julia loved animals. Boot and Bonnet, two cats, followed by Bumper, a beautiful Golden Retriever added to the family. This family has expanded to include Milo and Indie, two Golden Retrievers and Muddy and Dippy, two more cats; all with their individual personalities, and 35 chickens, whose names are too many to mention.

Julia moved to Canada with her husband Tim in 1995, living in Vancouver. She worked for 12 years at Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill as the Admin. Assistant. Then in 2011, Julia and Tim fulfilled their dream and moved to Quadra Island, living and working on their Hobby Farm.

Julia will be remembered as having a happy and fulfilled life, loving her husband and family and her pets, living on her farm tending to her garden and making her jellies and mustards to sell at Farmer’s Markets.

Julia never asked for much, but gave a lot to everyone, family and friends included, bringing joy and happiness to all.

A celebration of Julia’s life will be held on Saturday, June 7th, at 1:00PM at Elk Falls Crematorium and Reception Centre, Elk Falls Cemetery, Hwy 28 at General Hill, Campbell River.

Flowers would be gratefully accepted. Please send to Comox Valley Funeral Home, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C., V9N 3R6 or a donation in her memory to the SPCA Campbell River.
