Judy Steele

Judy passed away peacefully in Campbell River on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the age of 69.
Survived by her loving husband Ron; children John, Dan (Kirsten), Bonnie (Paul), Rick (Tanya); grandchildren Alexandria, Tory, Sam, Kate, and Matthew.
Judy was born and raised in Ontario and moved to Campbell River in the early 90’s. Bridge was her favourite card game and she played for many years in various Bridge groups. Judy also worked in different jobs, the last being working for Super Store until her retirement. First and foremost in her life was family. She was an adoring and adored grandmother who loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
A Memorial Open House in Judy’s memory will be held 11:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2254 Canterbury Lane, Campbell River.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy’s memory to Habitat for Humanity, 1725B Willow St., Campbell River, BC., V9W 3M8
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Willem Prinsloo for the compassionate care he gave to Judy throughout this trying time. The family would also like to extend thanks to the wonderful nurses of the Campbell River Cancer Clinic, nurses Melissa and Jennifer who were helping Judy in her final hours as well as Dr. Bernstein of the Victoria Cancer Clinic.
