Predeceased by her father Cecil Davis and her stepfather Henry Delisle.
After a courageous battle with cancer Chicky passed away peacefully at home on January 3rd, 2003 at the age of 55. She will be deeply missed by her loving partner Gerry, her mother Clare, her two girls Rene and Jennifer, her step-son Gerid her siblings; Cheryl (Bob); Gerry (Gisele); Charlie (Naomi); Joe, John (Gail) and her two grandchildren Sunni Ann and Nicholas as well as many more family and friends.
She was a beautiful person with a bubbly personality that was full of life. She was multi-talented with many interests. Her passions were shopping, gardening, crafts, fishing, hunting and collecting her many treasures. She loved people, young and old alike. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed them immensely. Chicky kept her humour throughout her fight. She enjoyed her visits with family and friends. She led a full life with no regrets. We love you and will miss you so much, Mom.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 2:00p.m. from the CHAPEL OF PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME, 440 England Ave., Courtenay, BC. with Pastor Ron Freeman officiating. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
