August 29, 1930 - April 12, 2019
On April12, 2019 at the age of 88 our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Mum was born in a small town in northern Alberta on August 29, 1930. Growing up on the farm taught Mum hard work and the love of animals, she especially loved horses. After graduating from high school, she worked for a couple of years before marrying the love of her life Don Campbell. In 1955 they made a long
winter journey with their four oldest children to Burns Lake, there they spent the rest of their lives working, raising their children and enjoying life.
Soon after Mum moved to Burns Lake she was invited to attend the Pentecostal Church. This is where her faith in God grew, and over the next sixty years Mum faithfully attended there, becoming a strong woman of faith and instilling this faith in her children.
As well as being a dedicated wife and mother, Mum also enjoyed volunteering for numerous organizations, found time for a few hobbies, and spent endless hours at family sports activities. Later in life Mum found employment out of the home a nice change and worked at various jobs in the community.
Of all her many accomplishments Mum's greatest sense of fulfillment came from meaningful relationships, and wonderful times spent with her husband, children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mum is predeceased by her husband Don, younger brother Glenn, parents Charles and Isabelle Cameron, grandson Mark Neville.
Mum is survived by her two sisters, Jeanine (Werner) Sellin and Carol (Conrad) Sellin, as well as her eight children, Caren (Tom), Diana (Dave), Donald (Eve), Russell (Lucy), Joy (George), Blaine (Leona), Rhonda (Gary), Cameron (Melissa), and by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mum
with her generous hospitality, selfless spirit, and loving prayers will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
