It is with great sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of John Fleming in Airdrie, Alberta.
John will be forever remembered by his wife Magen and their precious children, Ariana, Devon and Cohen, parents: Allen and Theresa Sankey, brothers and sisters: Jeff (Jessica) Fleming, Melissa (Shaun) Tofsrud, Kristina Sankey (Brian Walts) and Aspen and Hunter Fleming, grandparents: Alice Harrison and Russell Sankey. He will be remembered by his in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
John spent most of his youth in Campbell River in Stories Beach. He graduated from Timberline in 2005 and this is where he met the love of his life, Magen, who he married in 2008.
Computers and electronics were his passion and became his career. John started out at Pier Street Computers as a young teen and then My Tech Guys in Courtenay before moving to Calgary in 2012 and working at Horizon North Logistics and then finally for WCSB Blockchain Infrastructure Ltd. His motto was "I fix things that awesome people break". John was our family's "Mr. Fix It". He was always willing to graciously repair, set up or upgrade our computers, phones and anything electronic.
John did videos and reviews for Real Hardware Reviews and had a huge network of friends through them. They enjoyed travelling to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas each year.
John loved to cook and spend time with his family and friends and was a real animal lover.
John was a kind, generous and loving family man who always had a big smile on his face.
