John Graham passed away peacefully the morning of November 25, 2003 at Campbell River Hospital. His grandson, John Nicholas and brother, George, predeceased him. John is survived by his loving family; devoted wife Mary with whom he had 60 precious years, daughters Barbara (Dave) Blum, Judi (Jim) Spiers & Carol (Allan) McLean and son Keith (Jackie) Graham, 13 grandchildren & great grandchildren and brother Tom Graham.

John was born January 2, 1920 at Sedgewick, Alberta. He served in the RCAF during World War II, rising to the rank of Flight Sergeant. After earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering from UBC, he started his career with Crown Zellerbach at Ocean Falls. He was transferred to Richmond as Box Plant Superintendent in 1961 and to Elk Falls as Senior Project Engineer in 1967 and retired as Engineering Supervisor in 1982 and spent the next 10 years as a consulting engineer.

He enjoyed his retirement golfing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

John was a caring, wonderful person who touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Funeral Service will be held Monday December 1, 2003 at 2pm. at Campbell River United Church, 415 Pinecrest Rd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United church Missionary & Service Fund or charity of your choice.
