Born September 5th., 1925, passed away in the Campbell River Hospital on May 10th, 2002. Predeceased by his son Bruce Whyte in 1971.
He was much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gwendolyn Whyte, daughters Rita (Don) Simons, Lillian Whyte, sons Ken (Lory) Whyte and Sydney Whyte, grandchildren Diana, Cheryl, Darrell, Steven, Kevin, Karl, Garry, Theresa and Carmen (and their spouses) as well as 8 great-grandchildren, 9 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th, 2002 at the Campbell River Legion Hall. In lieu of flowers a donation to the chemo room at the Campbell River Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
