Joanne was a uniquely sensitive, and kind person who danced with the angels in life and left everyone she met a better person. Never an unkind word came from her lips, only encouragement for those seeking the light. She received a diploma in recreation from Langara College in Vancouver. She taught Tai Chi classes in Vancouver, North & West Vancouver, Squamish and Campbell River for 24 years. She was a member of the BC Acupressure Therapists’ Association, an accomplished Jin Shin Do practitioner and well advanced in Qigong training in recent years. And she was the Executive Director of Future Focus engaged in supporting disabled adults in North Island. In between these activities she had two wonderful boys who made her and Brian very happy.
