It is with heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Joanne (Dianne). She passed away peacefully on November 14 at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John. Sons Russel (Beatrice) of Calgary, Grant (Valerie) if Prince George and daughter Joanne (El) of Campbell River.
Prior to her death, Dianne was a member of a TOPS club and for many years, she was also involved with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hospital Thrift Shop.
Dianne was an avid collector of many things, such as her porcelained faced dolls and Bearington Bears.
We would like to thank of of the nurses and staff at 3N of the Campbell RIver Hospital who looked after Dianne’s needs. We would also like to express our appreciation to Dr. Steve Lefeuf for his care of Diannne.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation may be made in Dianne’s name.
There will be no funeral service but a Celebration of Life is planned for some time in the New Year.
