March 11, 1940 – January 11, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Frances Hallstrom, who lost her fight with cancer on Jan. 11, 2015. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Doug. Her daughter Jerri-Jo Atwell (Tim); grandson T.J.; son Bob Hallstrom (Lee); brothers Bruce Begon (Bev) and Rick Begon (Kersti). Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the nurses and doctors who cared for Joan, and the drivers of The Cancer Van.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society. A gathering of family and close friends will be taking place from 1:00-4.00pm. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 450-6th Avenue, Campbell River B.C.
