Joan Catherine Blackmer Bingham
February 8, 1925 – July 17, 2013
After a full and wondrous life Joan Catherine Blackmer Bingham, 88, passed away on July 17, 2013. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, passion for people and love of books.
Joan always prayed for her loved ones and was in God’s heart.
Joan is survived by her husband Montague Bingham, three children; Kathy Hauge, Candy Bateson and Richard Price, her beloved sister Susan Anderson and her four children as well as five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, eight step children and families.
A service will be held in her honor at St Peters Anglican Church, 228 Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:30 PM followed by a celebration of Joans’ life at 4:30 PM, Maritime Heritage Centre, 621 Island Highway, Campbell River, BC.
