Jessie passed away peacefully, at the Campbell River General Hospital on May 1st. Two months shy of her 98th birthday, Jessie lived a long and fulfilling life.
Jessie will be remembered dearly by all that knew her. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, son-in-law Richard Kobelka and her husband Roland.
Survived by; daughters Trudy (Ian) and Marie and her son Garry (Dawn), numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and good friends. Her 9 Grandchildren; Sheryl (Roy), Lisa (Dave), Dean (Kori), Mark (Crystal), Julie (Ken), Kellie (Glen), Craig (Ashley), Errin (Jessie) and Casey (Raven). As well as her 16 Great Grandchildren; Kayla, Tyler, Nathan, Curtis, Alexandria, Dylan, Drew, Carter, Tera, Ashton, Cheile, Sawyer, Adrian, Axton, Aydriona and Asher.
A small informal gathering will be held on Thursday, May 10th at 11:00 am at the Elk Falls Niche Wall, where Roland and Jessie will be laid to rest together. 909 Island Highway, Campbell River, BC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Campbell River General Hospital, where Jessie worked for many years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Golden Grove Care facility, where Jessie spent her last few years. She was always happy there and treated like family.
Following the small gathering, family and friends are welcome at the Hogue residence to gather and remember Jessie's life, 3098 Martin Road, Campbell River.
