Jessie Etta

Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta , June 29th, 1913. Passed away at Yucalta Lodge, September 28th, 2002, at the age of eighty-nine.

Predeceased by one sister, and three brothers. Survived by two daughters, Arlene Robinson (Al), Campbell River, Esther McKinnell (Lorne), Nanaimo; sisters, Joyce Whylie (Bill), Prince Rupert, Ruby Carol, Smithers, brother; Sam Lord, Smithers, and eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and five great greats.

Jessie moved to B.C. in 1932 and lived at Bowser till 1939 when she moved to Nanaimo. Jessie moved to Campbell River in 1989 and was a resident of the Lions Den for many years. She moved to Yucalta Lodge in January 2001.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family here in Campbell River, and her best friend for over seventy years, Lavina McGee of Courtenay.

B.C. Memorial in charge of cremation. No service, and in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to Yucalta Lodge or the charity of their choice.
