Jerry Sambrook was born in Campbell River on August 14, 1952 and passed away on March 11, 2020.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
It is with heavy yet rejoicing hearts that Jerry Sambrook’s family announces his passing on March 11 at the Campbell River Hospital at the age of 67. He is predeceased by his parents, Ann and Armour, and by his brother, Armour. He is survived by; his sisters, Doris and Marcelene; his wife Paula; his children and grandchildren, Ryan and (Bronwyn), and their children, Faye, Ross, Dean, and Mike and (Dawn), and their children, Brie and Jude; and by his chosen grandchildren, Davis, Donovan, Kaylie, and Dawson.
Thank you to the amazingly kind and professional Dr. Prinsloo, the Cancer Care nurses, and the hospital staff of the third floor. Thank you Sammi and Nina, who were amazing with Jerry and our family. Special thank you to our devoted friends and family who encouraged Jerry through his last two weeks of life. I am forever grateful, love Paula.
In light of the current restriction on gatherings and out of respect for the safety of our community, a celebration of life for Jerry will be postponed. Date TBA.
