It is in great sadness that we announce the passing of the great tinkerer (Pake) Jeep de Haan.  He passed quietly and peacefully in his sleep with his wife of 68 years by his side on Sunday, June 14th 2015 at 9 pm.  If he was not fixing watches or clocks, which was his passion, he could fix souls and broken hearts. There was nothing he could not fix with his kind words and compassionate heart.  He was great man, a loving husband, and a wonderful father and he will be missed dearly by all that knew him.  He is survived by his loving wife Ina, his first son Allan and family.  His second son Robert and surviving daughter, third child Michelle and her family. He is also survived by his brothers Theo, and Johannes and many other family members who all thought highly of this honourable and noble man.  Albert Einstein said:

“You cannot solve a problem from the same consciousness that created it.  You must learn to see the world anew.”  To that end Pake Jeep has gone afar to solve the mysteries of the universe leaving us all behind to ponder the limitations of our understandings.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
