Wherever he went Peter/Paul/Palo made friends easily. In his most recent years in Campbell River he has been adored by many for his excellent singing of Frank Sinatra songs at karaoke nights, his magic tricks, snooker skills, killer poker instinct with Joe’s family (Cindy, Kim et al), his warmth, humour, and that special sparkle in his eyes. He loved his family, enjoyed people, derived peace from his faith, and took things in stride (including his illness). Peter/Paul/Palo will be deeply missed by many!

John 14:1, “Let your heart not be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me.”

Come To Me

God saw you getting tired, and a  cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you and whispered  “Come to Me”

With tearful eyes we watched you  and saw you pass away.

Although we loved you dearly, we could not  make you stay.

A golden heart  stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
