Jean Grove-White
1942 – 2012
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Jean. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and caring staff of Yucalta Lodge.
Mum (Jean) was a phenomenal homemaker – loved sewing, cooking, baking and was famous for her “Nana Buns”. In later years she was passionate about hockey and loved cheering for the “Flames”.
Mum raised her family in the Kootenays and in later years resided on Vancouver Island.
She was very devoted to her children and grandchildren and was well liked by those who knew her.
She is survived by her brother Ken (Nella) and sister Olga with many nieces and nephews with families. Also her 4 children: Lois (Everett), Jeannine (Garth), Stephanie (Don) and Guy Blair. Grandchildren (5) Matthew, Stephen, Darla, Dyson and Dominic. Great granddaughter Keeli and new great grandbaby Mason.
Grateful thank yous to Dr. Ness, Dr. Friderichs and the compassionate Yucalta Lodge Staff who loved and cared for her so dearly.
