October 21,1954 – November 30, 2014

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Janice, she passed away due to heart failure.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Larry, her son Ryan, daughters Anne and Jill and her two grandchildren Teryn and Tavia. She is also survived by her sisters Angela (Don), Tracey (John), brother Stan (Barb) and parents Stan and Elizabeth Schofield.

Janice’s greatest joys in life were spending time with family, cooking, photography, making sea glass jewellery and spending time outdoors which included – a passion for the fish. Janice was also involved in the Island Fisherman Magazine for 15 years and was a volunteer for the Pacific Salmon Foundation for 18 years. She had a strong love for animals, especially her two Miniature Dachshunds: Fisher and Sage.

We know her final wish would be that you be happy and don’t cry.

At Janice’s request, there will be no service.  A small gathering will be held on Saturday December 6th from 12pm - 4pm at 610 Azalea Place in Campbell River.

When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a wonderful treasure to always hold in your heart.

Miss you forever and always.
