It is with deep regret, that the Family of Janice Gail Bell-Irving (Oct. 4 1950 - Jan. 19th, 2018), announces Janice's recent passing at the Lions Gate ICU; after 13 years of working through numerous serious illnesses & 5 ICU visits.
Jan was an extremely upbeat & soulful person, who greatly helped many people in Campbell River, including our many friends of Bill. She continued unselfishly helping many others in Squamish too. Jan worked at the Campbell River Hospital & Yuculta Lodge (where son Jason now works), as a Food Service Supervisor & Cook.
Jan is predeceased by 3 Brothers, Bob, Dave, & Tony.
Jan is survived by her very close sister Fran, Brother Tim, & sister & Law Suzanne. Also, by husband Rob, sons Bob & Jason, special daughter Vera Pohl, special foster grandchild Shelley & 6 Grandchildren. Jan was very close to sister and Law Dr. Kathy Bell-Irving, & all the B-I's.
While Jan loved Campbell River & lived there for years; we are very grateful to Dr. Malherbe at the Diamond Head Medical Clinic, Jas & Bob at the Squamish Pharmacy, St. Paul's & LGH Hospitals, their ER's, Labs & all their Services; & the Ambulance, Paramedics, & Firestation teams, who were terrific in helping us on many occasions.
There are just some people who inspire & help so much while they are here, & leave such a large void when they leave us; my best friend of 28 years; Jan was one of those people. Jan's memorial will be held at the Church on 99, in Squamish, 2:00 PM, Saturday, Jan. 27th.
