Born March 5, 1922 in Burgess Hill, England. Our beautiful Avon Lady passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at Zion Park Manor in Cloverdale. Jan was predeceased by her husband Tony & son Kevin. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Kurtis (Juhlie) Ladner; sisters Pauline and Sarah; nieces & nephews Angela (Ken), Rod (Patricia), Jacquie (Bob), Georgia (Ross) and Karen (David); many great nieces & great nephews; other relatives and close friends. Jan was a member of Florentine Chapter #53, Order of the Eastern Star for many years, and will be fondly remembered as our Avon lady, a position she held for over 20 years. She will be cremated and her ashes returned to Campbell River, her home for many years. If desired, contributions in Jan’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the BC Cancer Foundation.
