Jun 15, 1935 - Dec 15, 2017
Janet Lorraine McDade, 81, of Sechelt B.C. and formerly of Campbell River, passed away with family at her side on Dec. 15th, 2017 from the complications of a stroke.

At Janet's request, no service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Janet was born in Libau, Manitoba on June 15th, 1935. She lived and worked in Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, the Yukon Territory and British Columbia.

Jan worked as administrative support for various companies in Campbell River for over 30 years. She loved gardening, sewing and was passionate about Canadian curling.

Jan was also actively involved in the Campbell River Transition Society and various other community organizations.

Janet is survived by her daughter Shelley McDade, son-in-law Bruce Yeomans, grandson Cass Yeomans, and other family and friends.

Her husband Scotty McDade preceded Jan several years ago.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or if you knew Jan and her love and mastery of gardening, the family asks that you plant a perennial in her honour.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Wildgrube for his care, concern and support of Janet.
