of Mission, formerly of Campbell River, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 13th, 2003 at Strathcona Dam. He is survived and will be lovingly missed by his parents Ken and Terry Ann Stowell; sister Tammy Stowell; stepmother Anita and family; grandmother Lewis and family, and his favourite person ever, his niece Michaela. James was predeceased by his grandma and grandpa Stowell and grandpas Smith and Lewis. He loved fishing, soccer and hockey, but was extremely proud of the many medals he won competing in the Special Olympics. Funeral Service was held on Sunday, August 17th from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Campbell River, with The Reverend Emma Vickery, officiating. Cremation followed. ISLAND FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 103-909 ISLAND HIGHWAY, CAMPBELL RIVER, entrusted with arrangements. For those wishing, donations in memory of James to the YANA Society, P.O.
