Jim Wells passed away in Campbell River on February 18, 2007. He was predeceased by his parents George and Ellen Wells. Jim in survived and will be sadly missed by his wife Josey, his daughters; Sierra, Teri (Alfred), and Jamie (Melvin), his grandchildren; Anna-marie, Shayley, Quintaro, Kieran and Mya, his brothers; George, Bob and Dan, his sisters; Mary Doherty, Geri Piggott, Pat Carlson and Jackie Franzen.
Jim worked as a road and bridge builder and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and teasing everybody who touched his life. A Service of Remembrance In Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Monday, Feburary 26th at 1:00 pm from Homalco Cultural Centre, 1281 Bute Crescent, Campbell River. Donations in Jim’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 741, Campbell River, BC V9W 6J3 or the Canadian Diabetic Association, Campbell River and District Branch, Box 896, Campbell River, BC V9W 6Y4 would be appreciated.
