It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of James Fugle - a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a friend.
Predeceased by his mother, Gerry, Jim devoted his life to his wife of twenty-nine years, Darlene (nee Lutz). He also leaves behind his daughters, Punky/Lorri (Chuck) and Kandi, and his son, Jamie. His presence will be missed in the lives of his grandchildren, Aliyah, Brendann,, Sarah, Amanda, and Nichole. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Marion, Trisha (Dan), and Paula (Don), his brother Joe (Colleen), his father, Bud, the Lutz families, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many friends and co-workers from the community of Woss Lake, and Canadian Forest Products Ltd., where he was employed for thiry-four years.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, January 18th, at 2:00pm at the Comox Legion in Comox, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s name to YANA, an organization designed to help the families of children in need of special medical attention, would be greatly appreciated.
A special thank you to Dr. Jane, and nurses Elaine, Troy, Jess, Heather, Nathanda, and Kathleen, and other staff of Port McNeill Hospital who were so gracious and kind during my dad’s battle with cancer. We have the greatest respect for all of you and your professions.
