It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend Jim McLellan. Jim took his last breath at the Campbell River Hospital with his friends Francine and Najib by his side.
Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, he later made Vancouver Island his home. Jim proudly worked for McElhanney for 25 years. He retired to Quadra Island where he enjoyed gardening and generously filled our freezers with his delicious blueberries.
Jim had a lifelong love for his canine friends and left behind his 6 beloved dogs. He enjoyed travelling and made many trips abroad from Peru to African safaris and more.
A special thank you to the ICU and 3A nurses for their caring for Jim in his last days.
Jim leaves behind his brother David.
He will be forever missed by his friend/caregiver Sebastien, his friends Francine, Najib and Karim, as well as his tenants and friends Debbie and Paul.
