1925 - 2004
Jim passed away on Saturday, May 1st, 2004 after a battle with cancer. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1942-1945 and was a member of Branch #137 of the Royal Canadian legion for 27 years. He leaves his wife Jewell of 21 years, his daughter Sue (Dave) and son Ken, seven grandchildren and one great grandson. He also leaves his step children Dennis (Gloria) of Enderby, Donni (Pat) of Campbell River, Elise (Rick) of Penticton and 5 step grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his sisters Reah in Sydney, Australia and Louisa in Castlegar and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim worked in Tahsis from 1976 - 1988 and retired to Campbell River.
