June 9, 1937 - December 27, 2018
Jacqui was born June 9th, 1937 and passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 27th 2018. Known in Sayward as the feisty senior who saved her pet dog from 2 cougars at age 75, Jacqui is survived by her husband Lorne Simenson, his children Todd, Tracey and Jennifer and her children, Vikkie, Lawrence and Kim, her siblings Olive (O.J.), Melvin, Ann, Tony and Randy and Shirley, plus many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as friends and relatives near and far. She was pre-deceased by her older brother Floyd and her son Jamie.

Jacqui was a businesswoman owning and operating 2nd Look Boutique in Surrey, Delta and Langley for 35 years.

She loved and protected animals and children and told it like it is!

Jacqui had a passion for golf and belonged to three Ladies Clubs in the lower mainland and Storry Creek in Campbell River along with Rainbows end in Sayward.

Special thanks for Dr. McFadden, Homecare workers, Cheryl & Diana and Campbell River nurses Karen, Christie and Shauna (hugs) and respite workers at Yucalta Lodge.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at 1:00 pm on February 23, 2019 at the Heritage Hall in Sayward. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome!
