passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on September 10, 2006 in Victoria, BC.

Survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances; daughters Margaret Morgan and Judy (Frank) Clarke; sons Peter (Joan) and Paul (Cathy); grandchildren Judi, Dawn (Dave), Robert, Margaret-Ann (Jeff), Frank (Dawn), Deborah, Cathy (Dave), Daniel, Melissa (Johnny), Paul (Stephanie) and Nikki (Tom); and 17 great grandchildren.

Peter was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 16, 1917. He served in World War II. Following this he joined the RCMP and retired after 22 years of service. He then spent 4 and a half years working with the Esquimalt Police Department. He then enjoyed a long retirement traveling with his wife. He was also a past member of the Knights of Columbus and the Langford Legion.

Visitation was held at Sands Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, September 13 from 7 to 8 pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Avenue, Victoria, BC.

Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary on Friday, September 15 at 11 am with Father Slawomir Sciechowski Celebrant.

Cremation entrusted to Hatley Memorial Gardens.
