A resident of Campbell River for 40 years passed away peacefully July 15, 2003 at home with her family at the age of 80 years.


Irene is survived by her son Steven Thomas Timophy and daughter Cynthia Jenner (Rick) and two grandsons Matthew and Dax Jenner.


Irene is predeceased by her husband Stephen; twin brother Sid; Tom O’Brien of Winnipeg and John O’Brien of Campbell River; Father John and Mother Elizabeth O’Brien of Winnipeg; Aunt Dorothy and Irene Roger and two uncles Harry and George Roger; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.


Irene was employed by Canada CAR as a Wing Fitter on the Curtis Hell-Diver Aircraft in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She cared for her garden and was an avid sports fisherman. Irene’s family was the most important thing in her life. We feel blessed to have had her as long as we did. She will be forever loved and greatly missed.


A Celebration of Irene’s Life will take place on Saturday, July 19th between 1pm and 3pm at the home of Rick and Cynthia Jenner, 657 Alder Street, Campbell River. Should friends wish, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, B-1423 - 16th Avenue, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 2E3 with appreciation.
