Ingrid Boon
March 30, 1944 - October 12, 2017
We said goodbye on October 12, 2017 to our beautiful Ingrid who was loved by so many.
Born March 30, 1944 in Victoria, B.C. to Barney and Frances Poulson.
Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, James Boon (2011), she leaves her children Tom Boon, Carolynne Boon Palla (Karel Palla) Roger Boon (Sherry); grandchildren Kage Palla, Vinny, Victor, Carter, Haylee and Ethan Boon along with many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by sisters Margreta Laverty, Lil Poulson and Nancy Steele (Don Matovich).
Predeceased by sister Alice Parrett (Vern). She also leaves brothers-in-law Michael (Laura), Bill (Helena) and Douglas (Sandy). Predeceased by Ronald Boon (Kathy).
Ingrid was retired after a long career as a popular school bus driver. The magnet on her fridge said, "I intend to live forever, so far so good."
Her faith kept her strong and happy throughout her life.
We all admired her fearless determination and adventurous spirit. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach and her lovely garden.
A service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1935 Evergreen Rd in Campbell River on December 2nd at 2:00 pm.
