Born Oct. 12, 1925 in Dodsland Saskatchewan, passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 at George Derby Centre.

Predeceased on July 27, 2003 by loving husband Frank Earl. Survived by sister Doris Grylles, brother Harry Brewster and much younger loving sister Melba Campbell. Her children, Valerie Ellis, son Trevor (Claudette); Jerry (Rachel) children Ayal, Yohave, Karen; Margaret Gardiner, son Blayne; John, children Janet (Ken), Michael; Kathleen (Ken); sons Pat and Kyle; Barry (Janet) children Alex and Hannah; Stepson Jakob (Mavis) children Shane and Tara. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who loved their Auntie I.

Mom was very proud that she served Canada during the war in the Air force. Honeymooners Mom and Frank found a lot in Oyster River and promptly cleared the lot and the family helped build a rancher, which became the family home for 25 years. Mom and Frank kept busy with Legion activities at the Island Branches. Mom enjoyed retirement life with traveling, painting and of course completing every crossword puzzle and watching Coronation Street. Mom spent her last year at George Derby Centre in Burnaby, where she was well taken care of by the staff and provided a sharp wit for her fellow residents.

The family wishes to extend an invitation to anyone who wishes to join them in the Celebration of Inez’s Life to be held March 27th, 2004 at 11:00a.m. at Columbia Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219-6th St., New Westminster, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mom’s name to Legion Branch #44.
