It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ida at her home due to cardiac arrest. Ida was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Helen Nesbitt, husband Gerald Cook, son Michael Cook and infant daughter. She is survived by her sister Alix (Sandy) Helmer, niece Carolyn Allison (Daniel and Shawn), stepson Daniel (Rhonda) Cook and their three girls, Sheena, Paige and Meghan; Michael’s wife Sandy Cook and her son Kory. Ida will be deeply and profoundly missed by not only her family but also all her friends.
She has left a great mark on the lives that she touched. We thank everyone who has touched her life. For all that you are and all that you do, thank you. Ida was a United Church member and volunteered her time to many projects. In addition, she was also a Rebeka Lodge member and loved spending time in her garden.
There will be no service but there will be a private family get together at a later date.
