Ian is survived by his wife Vivien, son David (Kellie), grandchildren Evelyn and Charles and daughter Deborah (Toby Dunn). He will be missed and fondly remembered by his friends and neighbours in Chesterfield (UK), Campbell River (BC) and
St. Cloud (Florida). His leisure time after retirement from Cadbury was well spent fishing, skiing and golfing. Campbell River reminded him of the borders of Scotland, where he spent a very happy childhood and he felt very much at home here. His golfing and Legion darts buddies will miss Ian's sense of humour and storytelling abilities. He also enjoyed hosting and cooking for friends.
To honour his connections to Campbell River there will be a celebration of Ian's life at Sequoia Springs Golf Club on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 from 3:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon. No flowers by request of the family. Donations to a favourite charity can be made in remembrance of Ian.
