HERBERT ROY HOTEL
1921 - 2011
Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2011 in Comox, B.C. after a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Mary Hotel. Roy is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife Dorothy, his sons Keith (Dawn) and Mark, his daughter Karen Philp (Barrie) and his grandchildren; Resha, Jody, Tanner, Micky, Alix and Deryn, 8 great grandchildren as well as his brother Glenn (Mary).Roy served in Gander, NFLD during WWII and later worked in Campbell River as an electrician for G. Farwell & Co. He was a member of the Ripple Rocket Square Dance Club for approximately 50 years. In his leisure time Roy loved to tend his garden in Campbell River where he grew the best strawberries ever. Roy was a loving father and Grandpa, the most patient, kindest person you have ever had the privilege to know.
