August 26th, 1935 ~ June 27th, 2002
passed away peacefully in Campbell River District Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife of forty years, Katie, nee: Naknakin. Henry will be sadly missed and is survived by his only son, Leon (Stephanie) (cory), two sisters, Rita Welsh of maple Ridge, Jean Schnieder of Aldergrove, “Wiskers” the cat and many friends. Henry was born in Colville, Manitoba, and moved to B.C. in the 1950’s, where he took pride in his work as a logger up and down the B.C. coast for forty years until retirement. A true man of the woods. Goodbye papa.
a memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Thursday, July 4th, 2002 at 11:00am.
