Bud was born March 16, 1925. He was the son of Harry and Catherine (Rogers) Mann. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dot and their three children, Doug (Nanette) Mann of Campbell River, Lorri (Marshall) Jenkins of Campbell River, Kellie (Fred) Gorosh of Black Creek, sister June Thornton of Mission, grandchildren Cara, Jodi, Kyle, Heather, Rona, Dylan, Chelsea, Cody and Yvette as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bud was a well known and respected logger and tug boat operator for many years in Campbell River, Minstrel Island and surrounding areas.
Bud was a fine man who was much loved by family and friends and he will be missed dearly.
A celebration of Bud’s life will be held on Sunday, June 12th, 2:00 – 4:30 pm at the Elk’s Lodge, 516 S. Dogwood, Campbell River, BC. Flowers are gratefully declined.
