April 28, 1920 - June 21, 2006
Helen passed away at Campbell River & District Hospital on Wednesday, June 21, 2006. She was predeceased by her daughters Sharon Attfield and Juanita Jones. Helen is survived by her sons Brian McCabe (Joan) of Campbell River and Shon McCabe (Margaret) of Quadra Island; daughters Maxine Hanson (Herb), Serina McCleod (Ross), Jennifer Baker (Ed), Laurena Grimard (Dan) all of Campbell River and Kathy Binnersley (Terry) of Quadra Island and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked at Quadra Foods for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. Helen loved gardening, her pets and feeding wild birds. Helen was family oriented and over came many life struggles always with a smile on her face and was quick to laugh. She had a great sense of humour, had the teapot on and a plate of cookies on the table.
