Harold James

Feb. 1, 1915 - July 12, 2008

Passed away peacefully at Yucalta Lodge, Campbell River, on Saturday, July 12th, 2008 at age 93.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret, his son William Roach, and his brother Ernie Welsh.

He is survived by his sons: Arnold (Christine) Welsh, Harvey (Daphne) Welsh, and Lawrence (Audrey) Welsh; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, sister Helen Yost, brother Pat (Miriam) Welsh, together with numerous nieces and nephews.

Harold was a long standing member of the Knights of Pythian. In his later years he was an acccomplished bowler who would often win at 5 pin bowling. He would enjoy his morning drives to the Spit in Campbell River.

Harold was a great father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed and remembered by all.

A Celebration of Harold's Life will take place on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008 at 1:00p.m. from ELK FALLS FUNERAL CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, Elk Falls Memorial Cemetery, Highway 28, at General Hill, Campbell River.
