Harbans Kaur
After a short illness, Harbans Kaur Gill passed away at the Campbell River District General Hospital on Thursday, December 8, 2005, in her 87th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ranbir Singh Gill; predeceased by 3 brothers, 1 sister & a grandson. She is survived by her Canadian family; daughter Parkash Kaur Jhawer & husband Surinder, grandchildren Raj (Korina), Nav (Nisha) & great grandchildren Inara, and Asha. She is also survived by her 3 sons, 2 daughters and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren in India.
Harbans came to Canada from India in 1981 to be with her family. Also known by her family as Bibi, she will be deeply missed by all. Bibi enjoyed time spent playing with Asha & Inara, her garden, and making roti.
The funeral service was held at the Elk Falls Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 10th, 2005.
