Passed away on May 11th, 2007 at the Campbell River District Hospital.
He was predeceased by his mother May Brooks and father Dave Brooks, sister Laura Hadwin, and half sister Shirley Davis.
Greg is survived by his brothers Grant Brooks, Mason Davis - half brother, and Murray Davis - half brother, his 4 children: Richard, Bill, Mike and Christie Brooks. He is also survived by his nieces Kelly Thies, and Sarah Hadwin.
Greg was born in Cold Lake, A.B., and lived in Czar, A.B. before moving to Zeballos, B.C., where he spent the remainder of his life between Zeballos and Campbell River, B.C.
He was a founder of the Zeballos Fish & Wildlife Association and a member of many organizations which included the B.C. Wildlife Federation, Zeballos Ranger Patrol, Zeballos Village Council, and he was also a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
A Service for Greg will be held on Wednesday, May 16th, 2007 at 1:00pm, at Sutton's Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River. Pastor Albert Hopp, officiating. A Graveside service in Zeballos will be held on Thursday, May 17th, 2007 at 2:00pm.
