Gordon
December 4th, 1963 ~ November 19th, 2004
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother and uncle, Gordon Watson, on Friday November 19th, after a brief illness.
Gordon is survived by his mother, Lila Watson; brother Barry (Pat), nephew Derrick (Tammie), niece Candice; sister Susan (Bob) Currie, nephews Chris, Darren (Maureen), nieces Tricia (Dean), step nieces Tammy, Cindy, Holli and step nephew Jason, and their families.
Gordon was predeceased by his father, Don Watson and his brother-in-law, John Devlin.
Gordon was able to bring a smile and lasting memory to all that knew him. He was a fun loving, kind, genuine person. These traits were proved with the numerous friends that he had. Friends so many that we can’t mention each of you individually in fear of missing someone. We must mention, his “best buddy - Tory” who has always held a special spot in Gordon’s heart. His friends you know who you are and we Thank you for all that you did for Gord and for being such good friends. You were there through his illness, for the hospital visits, the telephone calls, flowers and cards. We are forever grateful.
A memorial service to celebrate Gord’s life will be held Friday November 26th, at 1:00pm at the Community Hall with reception to follow at the Legion Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
