GLADYS (JONES) SITCH
April 7, 1912 - September 11, 2007
Passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on September 11, 2007. Mum was born in Thunder Bay, ON, and lived in Conmmee Township before moving to Thunder Bay and Terrace Bay ON, where she and her husband Charlie raised their three children They retired in Duncan BC and Mum later moved to Campbell River to be near her daughter Joyce.
Mum was predeceased by her husband Charles in 1989, daughter Muriel Cataford and Son In Law Allan, her four brothers Harry, Cyril, Arthur & William as well as sister Hilda.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce Sweet (Jim) and her son Keith (Norma).Grandchildren Judy Wright (Mike,) Brian Cataford (Chris) Ann Hutsall, Bill Sweet (Sharon) Tom Sweet (Noreen), Richard Sweet ( Carol), Kevin Sitch, David Sitch, Darryl Sitch (Corina) and 23 Great Grandchildren.
Mum will be greatly missed by all those people whose life she touched in her many years with us. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to her in the last 17 months by the Evergreen Seniors Home in Campbell River. They are a model for the care of all our elderly people. A private family service will be held with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar, B.C.
