Trudi Borek passed away peacefully in her home at the Beverly Glenmore Care Center on January 29, 2016 at the age of 90. Trudi was very well known in her community as someone who loved to travel. She explored the world around her as often as she could, collecting friends and photographs as she went. She was an avid volunteer at her church and enjoyed her bible study as well as preparing meals for Christmas dinner. Trudi is survived by her daughter Bozena and son-in-law Kevin (Baillie) of Calgary, her daughter Krys of Invermere, granddaughter Lisa and her husband Paul and great-granddaughters Scarlett and Elizabeth. A Memorial Tea will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alberta Children’s Hospital or the Calgary Humane Society would be very much appreciated.
