George Kenneth. Born April 12th, 1947 – Nov. 1st, 2010.
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle after a brief courageous battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his loving son, Stephen (Tracy, grandchildren Garrett and Connor) and daughter Treana (Mike, grandchildren Sydney and Nicholas).
Survived by his siblings Jim (Michelle), Maureen Corrado (Louie), Tom, Kathleen Aerts (Chris), Doug (Glenda), Joe (Ann), John (Rita) and Theresa Feeney. Also by many loving nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mitzi and his brother Dan.
George enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time with his children fishing and hunting.
Our family appreciates the care and support that George’s friends gave him over the years.
A special thanks to the excellent nursing staff on the 3rd floor of the Campbell River hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church –
34 South Alder – on Thursday, Nov. 4th, 2010 at 11:00am.
