George passed away on June 17th at the Campbell River Hospital with his family by his side.
George is predeceased by his wife Lynne and his brother Floyd Woods.
George will be dearly missed by his family. He is survived by his daughters Barb (Mauro) Zenone and their children Marco and Amanda. He is also survived by his daughter Diana Woods and her children Gracie and Tyler.
George will also be missed by his siblings Arteena Hunter, Sam Woods (Donna), Hank Woods, John Woods (Vicki), Flossie Shelley (Percy) and Tim Woods (Lori).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday Aug 23, 2014 at 3750 South Island Highway Campbell River BC, at 2:00p.m.
Over the years George donated and supported the War Amps and the BC Children’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either of these charities in George’s memory.
