March 28, 1935 - August 7, 2010
In the early hours of Saturday, August 7th,
Mom passed away after a short fight with a brain
tumour.
As anyone who knew her knows, she was a beautiful, warm, funny, caring woman. We will miss her more than words can say. Mom was pre-deceased by two of her three sons, Steve 26 and Brian 39; and her husband of 54 years Leo had passed away two years ago almost to the day.
She is survived by my wife Heather and me, Randy; her other daughter-in-law Cindy and her husband Gary; three grandsons, Derek (Jessica), Scott (Lisa) & Steve (Keely); five
great-granddaughters and one great grandson.
Mom took comfort in knowing she would soon be with Dad and my brothers, and I believe in my heart that they are happy together now.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 21st at 1:00pm at the Florence Filberg Centre. Should friends wish, a donation to the Comox Valley Recovery Centre,
