WILSON,

Frank Deward

Nov. 20, 1960 - Feb. 3, 2007

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Frank.

Frank left us on Saturday, February 3, 2007 during a road building accident. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his wife Angelica and son Brendan, sisters Betty (Bruce), Nicki (Chris) and brother Del, Mother-in-law Greta, Father-in-law Mike, sisters-in-law Tamara (Stan), Laura (Len), Carol (Syl), brother-in-laws Alan, and Thor (Denise).

He will also be forever missed by many aunts, uncles, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Frank is predeceased by his father, mother, and grandparents.

Frank was born November 20, 1960 in Sydney, Australia. While he was a young boy, he came to Canada with his parents and lived the rest of his life in British Columbia mainly on the Coast including the Queen Charlotte Islands. At an early age of 15, he spent summers with his dad in the logging industry where he began his love for the woods. After graduating from high school, Frank went on to BCIT and received his Diploma of Technology in Forest Resources. Frank was a driller/blaster by trade, however he had mastered several other jobs as well. There wasn’t much that Frank couldn’t do. Frank enjoyed traveling with his wife and son, taking in Canuck hockey games, spending many enjoyable days fishing for salmon during the summer and when he could, hunting n Clearwater for Moose. He had a great love for the outdoors whether it be fishing, or hunting. Frank was a prince of a man - and was admired by many. His gentle and giving spirit will be missed.

A Celebration of the Life of Frank Wilson and the richness he brought to our lives will be held at the Campbell River Baptist Church, 260 S. Dogwood Street, on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MS Society.
