Francis Kelly MCLEOD

Francis Kelly

A proud veteran

of WWII and Korea

Born St. John, N.B.

May 27, 1925

Died Campbell river, BC.

Dec. 14, 2006

A very brave soldier left us today

Surrounded by his family,

he gently slipped away.

The years were getting harder,

the body getting weak

We spent more time together

Just to hear him speak.

He had so many memories

All of them so clear

But none of them as special as the one he held so dear.

Marion was her name, she was his trusted wife,

Now he’s gone to be with her,

The true love of his life.

So, rest in peace dear Grampy,

As we remember you with love

We know that you’ll be

watching us,

From above

To my Father-in-law

Love – Debbie

Greatly missed, lovingly remembered and never, ever forgotten by his children: Frank (Starr); Judy (Brian); Mike (Mary); Chris, Cathy, Steve (Debbie); 15 grandchildren & 11 3/4 great grandchildren.

Service to follow in January.

A very special thank you to: Dr. MacNeil, The Home Care Nursing Team and all the nurses on the 3rd floor for your compassion in the care of our father
