Frances Clive
December 1, 1929-April 29, 2013
It is with great sadness that we tell you of the passing of Frances Catherine Clive (nee Perkins). Frances passed away suddenly on April 29, 2013 in her home.
She is predeceased by her husband Harry Clive and survived by her son Brian Clive and his wife Kathy, grandchildren Matthew and Breanna; her daughter Sandra Clive and her husband Paul; grandchildren James and Sean; and her brother Larry Perkins; nephews Michael, Steven and Rod.
Frances was active in her community of Campbell River both through her long teaching career as a home economics teacher at Carihi in the 1950s and at Southgate Secondary in the 1970’s; through her many volunteer activities particularly with Operation Vision, St. Peter’s Anglican Church, and the Campbell River Hospital Auxiliary; and through her many interests like the Embroiderer’s Guild, the Weaver’s Guild and more recently, quilting.
Frances was particularly proud of her grandchildren Matthew, Breanna, James and Sean and was able to see them grow to be fine young adults. Mom, we will miss you.
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Beach House at 169 South Highway in Campbell River. Thank you to all who attended.
